System Administrator

Job Summary

The Senior System Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure. This role ensures the availability, security,
performance, and compliance of identity services, messaging systems, virtualization platforms, endpoint management, backups, and enterprise hardware.

Key Responsibilities

    Identity & Access Management
     Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user provisioning,de‑provisioning, group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and access control.
     Ensure secure authentication, authorization, and compliance with organizational security policies.


    Messaging & Archiving
     Manage Microsoft Exchange Server operations, ensuring email continuity,mailbox configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
     Administer Veritas Enterprise Vault for email archiving, retention policies,legal hold, and compliance requirements.


    Virtualization &  Remote Access
     Administer and maintain Microsoft Hyper‑V environments, including virtual machine provisioning, failover clustering, performance optimization, and capacity management.
     Perform VM lifecycle management, snapshots, replication, and high availability configurations.
     Manage Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps, including application publishing, access configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization for remote users.


    Endpoint & Patch Management
     Oversee Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, operating system deployments, system updates, patching, and
    compliance reporting.

     Implement and maintain Ivanti Security Controls for centralized patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.


    Backup &  Disaster Recovery
     Manage enterprise backup solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication and Commvault.
     Ensure backup integrity, regular verification, and successful execution of restore and disaster recovery procedures.
     Support DR planning, testing, and recovery readiness for both physical and virtual environments.


    Server &  File Services
     Administer Windows File Servers, including file share management, NTFS permissions, storage quotas, and data access controls.
     Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity utilization.


    Infrastructure & Hardware
     Oversee HPE Synergy infrastructure, including firmware updates, server profile configuration, compute/storage resource allocation, and proactive
    hardware monitoring.
     Coordinate with vendors for hardware lifecycle management and support escalations.


    Operations & Governance
     Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
     Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), system diagrams, and configuration baselines.
     Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance requirements, and IT best practices.

    Salary : Upto AED 14000

Required Skills & Qualifications

     Hands‑on experience with Veeam and Commvault backup technologies.

     Experience administering Citrix Virtual Apps environments.
     Knowledge of enterprise server infrastructure, preferably HPE Synergy and
    HPE Rack Mount Servers.
     Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

     Strong expertise in Active Directory administration and Windows Server
    platforms.
     Hands‑on experience with Hyper‑V virtualization, including clustering and
    high availability.
     Proven experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server and archiving
    solutions.
     Solid expertise with SCCM, Ivanti Security Controls, and endpoint
    management.
